Basics

It is always the same procedure and the basics need to be covered first, depending on what is needed.

Main article

The main article then deals with the actual installation. This is always based on the Basics.

Konsole

Many items have a ‘console only’ part that offers an almost seamless copy & paste experience and allows installation within minutes.

Important: The aim here is NOT to simply copy and paste or, as with Docker, to click somewhere and it will work somehow. The aim here is to understand how certain services work and are configured in detail. This is particularly helpful if an error occurs or certain things need to be customised.

In the example of FreshRSS, this would be all ‘Konsole only’ sections that can be processed one after the other in sequence:
