FreeBSD has a fully-fledged virtualisation that is ideally suited to running other operating systems. The preparation of the whole story starts here and is followed by a lean Docker host based on Alpine Linux. In particular, the meaningful interaction with Bastille Jails was not really satisfactorily formulated in any source.
